Each year children are invited to organise a different activity. This year the theme is to 'Go Spotty.'
Foundation Stage Children (years Pre-Reception and Reception) are bringing in a £2 donation and are going to wear spotty clothes and make spotty cakes and spotty ears.
Year 1 students are bringing in a £2 donation on Friday and are dressing in casual clothes which should be covered in colourful spots.
Year 2 are running a 'Guess the Jelly Beans in the jar' competition, (with 50p a guess - up to 4 guesses).
Year 3 have a colouring competition; as part of their homework for Thursday 18th November they will be handed a blank colouring picture from the website of Pudsey the Bear, which students are asked to bring in on Friday, with their £2 donation, and their work will be judged by their teachers. This work will be displayed.
On the morning of Friday 19th November Years 4, 5 and 6 are bringing in their £2 donation and are asked to wear spotted clothing and/or spotted face paint, hats and shoes. They will be exploring the website with their tutor groups and play videos, read case studies and generally give their students a general overview of what we are raising funds for.
Years 7, 8 and 9 are bringing their £2 donation and, as they will be coming to school dressed in their P.E. Clothes, they are asked to adorn them with circles or bows of coloured paper, which can be attached to their P.E. Clothes with a safety pin; they could also cut our circular, coloured clocks and coins of £2, £1 and 10p...
This non-uniform day, children are asked to come in with £2, all proceeds will be sent to Children in Need.
If you would like to take part in this fund-raising and have any questions or are unsure of exactly what your child should wear, or if we can help in any way, please contact Mrs. End, who will be pleased to assist you.
All the children will enjoy fund-raising for this really worthy cause and I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our parents for the support that is always forthcoming.
