After school provision 3:30pm to 5:45pm.

We have, over time, been approached by a number of parents with regard to providing after school clubs up until 5:45pm.

Parents with extra work loads are finding it increasingly difficult to collect children on time and are having to engage the help of child minders and after school clubs at different venues, who collect the children from school and walk or drive them to whichever club is used.

It is with this in mind that we have decided, as part of our process to determine the viability of offering such a provision, to send out this letter to gauge interest in such a facility, and we would appreciate your feedback on the matter.

The current provision under consideration would be restricted to children attending the school, and would include a light supper such as beans, cheese or tomatoes on toast, scrambled egg sandwich, drink, cake or fruit. It would also offer activities where children would be gainfully occupied in a relaxed situation.

Such a provision would be priced in line with other after school provisions in the range of £10.00 per night. Should this provision prove useful to parents we would, at a later date, consider the breakfast club that some parents have also asked about.
